Let’s hope it’s better than Punk’d
ASHTON KUTCHER is producing a new comedy for the US ABC network about a woman who returns to her school to become a guidance counselor. The series is the first scripted program to be produced by Kutcher, who has also produced the popular MTV prank series PUNK’D. The project was picked up after a bidding war between US networks ABC and NBC. The show will be penned by THE OFFICE writer CAROLINE WILLIAMS and will be shot in the same “mockumentary” style as The Office. According to Williams the lead character “comes back to her alma mater to prove how far she’s come, but she learns from her students as much as she teaches them.”
