Our favorite little nipple slipper, Mischa Barton is reportedly being lined up for a role in TV sensation Desperate Housewives. After quitting THE OC – the teen show that made her famous – the British-born star is rumoured to be discussing a new role with Desperate Housewives creator MARC CHERRY. Cherry’s spokesperson says, “He’s interviewing and auditioning all the time. “I’m sure Mischa would be a welcome asset to the show but who knows what will happen?”

I say – what could it hurt.  The show couldn’t POSSIBLY be worse if they tried.  Well, I guess it COULD.  They could cast Star Jones.  That – in my opinion – would be worse.
