Superstitious rocker Juliette Lewis refuses to play gigs without wearing her horned Viking helmet, because it holds the key to successful performances.

The former actress even wore the headwear during a raucous Icelandic concert with her band THE LICKS, and it went down so well she has vowed to continue wearing it. She says, “I love my horned Viking helmet - it’s wild. I’ll have it taken off by the time I stage-dive into the crowd, though, otherwise I would probably stab someone with it. “I was pretty worried about offending the audience at the Airwaves Festival in Iceland, as it was a mainly local crowd, but I wore it anyway. Thankfully, they seemed to love it, and it ended up being one of the best gigs we’ve ever done.”
