Kate Hudson has nothing but well wishes for ex-boyfriend Lance Armstrong, who recently announced that he is expecting a child in June with girlfriend Anna Hansen.
“It’s amazing. Congratulations,” Hudson told PEOPLE at Monday night’s Manhattan premiere of Bride Wars, where she shared the Tiffany & Co. blue carpet with costar Anne Hathaway.
Hudson, 29, got cozy with the seven-time Tour De France champion over this past summer. Armstrong, 37, has three children with his ex-wife Kristin: Luke, 9, and twin daughters Isabella and Grace, 7.
“He’s a great father. He already is an amazing father,” Hudson said with a smile.

Pink admits she isn’t entirely over her ex-husband Carey Hart.
“It’s up and down,” she says in February’s Seventeen. “You have strong moments, and you have weak moments. But it’s not just been devastating - it’s been freedom, too. I told him that I would give him away at his next wedding.”
She also says it “feels very confusing” that her single “So What” — which she has said is not about Hart — became the break-up anthem of the year.
“It’s bittersweet,” says the singer, 29. “It’s funny, it’s empowering, it’s ‘Screw you,’ it’s all of that.”
Despite the razor-sharp lyrics (”I’m just fine/And you’re a tool”), Pink says she doesn’t like being a mean girl.
“My brother and I fought a lot when we were kids. We were very violent,” she says, explaining how she got to be so aggressive. “He could always beat me physically, but I could always beat him with words. And you learn how to survive by how you are as a kid and can just be really mean.
“I can cut people down. I don’t like to,” says Pink. “I don’t want to be like that anymore.”

I really don’t like Anne’s look in these pictures. I think she looks terrible! Kate on the other hand, is gorgeous as usual!
